Down 100 feet vertically from Upper Honey Branch Falls is Middle Honey Branch Falls, which is smaller but still prominent 10 feet tall waterfall. This is a good distance down from the aforementioned waterfall, as it is almost under the Route 16 underpass. It is difficult to hike to, as it’s a steep drop, but it is at this waterfall where Honey Branch momentarily pauses at a pool that you can sit down and enjoy!

The waterfall is located about 0.4 miles south of the Route 60/Route 16 intersection along Route 16 in Fayette County near Beckwith. There is not any parking here, so what I usually do is park just a bit farther south and then walk my way up. This is a busy highway, so please be wary of traffic, as folks do drive fast through here. Once you walk north and see the overpass, you will see a trail to your right. At this point, you should be able to faintly here and see Upper Honey Branch Falls. It’s not hard to navigate up close to it, but there are some slick rock in places. From there, to see Middle Honey Branch Falls, you will drop down below this waterfall – there’s no path here, so you’ll carve your own easiest path down about 100 feet vertically. It’s not easy but worth it!
