Although the Lower Falls of Hills Creek gets by far the most attention along this creek, the Middle Falls still stand at an impressive 45 feet and provide a dazzling display for you to appreciate it! The rock layers that surround the waterfall often have tiny streams flowing in addition to the waterfall, which makes a nice spiderweb appearance! This waterfall is on your way down to the Lower Falls of Hills Creek, so be sure to give this wonderful waterfall some time as well!
To access Middle Hills Creek Falls, head east from Fenwick in Nicholas County on Route 39/Route 55 for 13 miles, which is the Highland Scenic Highway until you see Hills Creek Road on the right. Turn right and follow briefly for a quarter mile until you see the parking area for the trail that leads you to all three waterfalls that comprise of the Falls of Hills Creek.
